Alpha at Dale Street

What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment.  The Alpha course consists of a series of talks over ten weeks looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?‘ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’  It offers a chance to ask questions,   real questions, about life, injustice, suffering, the future, death, other faiths and much more.

 

 

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone. Those investigating Christianity, newcomers and those wanting to take a fresh look or brush up on basics.

 

Where and when do we meet?
The course is held at Dale Street Methodist Church Centre here in Leamington Spa (CV32 5HL).
Our second course began on January 11th 2010.
Each session begins at 7pm and ends at 9pm on Monday evenings.

 

What do we do?
We begin with food when everyone gets to know each other. Then we break into small groups for discussion on a topic which has either been presented live or is on DVD.
