Meet the Team!
Hi I’m Rev Tina, I’m the new Minister here at Dale Street Methodist Church.
I’ve been really enjoying getting to know my congregation, the area and all the people, young and old who meet at Dale Street along with members of the numerous groups and activities that happen throughout the week.
I am married to Richard, a Church of England curate and we have two grown up children.
In my spare time, I love walking in the countryside, all things furry, and a delicious curry but not too hot!!!
I'm Tony Parkinson who enjoys himself making quite a lot of noise on the Clavinova when he accompanies the hymns, believes in change and does a bit of gardening round the back of the church. He's been sort of in charge of the Leadership Team for five years.
My name is Margaret. I used to be a district councillor for Milverton. I joined the Methodist Church after seeing how much good work they did in the local community. I enjoy gardening, painting and music.
I was a teacher but when I retired from full-time teaching twelve years ago I wondered what I would do with my time as I couldn’t imagine not being busy. I needn’t have worried as I was soon roped in to volunteer with different organisations in the community, some of which I still do. I also became involved in the Methodist Church’s children’s charity Action for Children, at Dale St. In Luke’s Gospel, Martha is the ‘doer’ while her sister Mary is the contemplative one. I liken myself to Martha although one trait that I have is that I am a hoarder and am not good at de-cluttering; perhaps as I am too busy being busy!
Hi, I'm Andrew Emm and I focus on the making the building support the local community including the 30 or more groups that are already based here.
I worked as an accountant, will turn my hand to most DIY tasks and enjoy graphic design.
